Two years ago, Adrian Cerrieve was cursed. No one, not even his family, knows he's a dead man walking. Not a soul knows he's tied to the town itself for survival. But when his previous saboteurs find him again, he'll have to find a way to either fight them or escape.

Major Characters

	Adrian Cerrieve - Returned to Lester from the capital two years ago after... well, he doesn't want to talk about it.
	Mivennine Finley - Raphael's second apprentice. All she wants is to be able to leave Lester some day.
	Raphael Mentor - One of Ellisgar's few taskmakers. He just wants Adrian to succeed, if Adrian would only listen.
	??? - Not someone Adrian ever wanted to see. Again.
	Princess Valemira - Sent away at a young age due to illness. Surely it had nothing to do with her mother being executed for treason.
	Phillip Lemarre  - Valemira's cousin and caretaker.  He somehow managed to get Valemira invited back to court...
